In the course of
accessing our MinuteMan Home Banking Services, and upon approval
of our terms and conditions to this site, our program may
place or recognize a unique "cookie" on your browser.
Via this cookie, along with statistical software, we
collect and store the following information about your visit:
- Acceptance or Denial of our Terms and
Conditions Statement. Via the cookie, a record is
created which indicates that our visitor(s) either accepted
our Terms and Conditions
statement (Online Access Agreement for MinuteMan Home Banking
and Electronic Fund Transfer Act Disclosure), or declined.
Upon acceptance, the visitor is automatically referred to
our MinuteMan Home Banking Services. If the visitor chooses
to decline our Online Access Agreement, then the visitor
is referred back to our public site and will not gain access
to the login screen of our online banking service.
- The Internet Domain from which you

if you are connecting from an Ameritech account, or www.mc.net,

- The IP Address (Internet Protocol)
from which you access the Home State Bank site. An
IP address is a unique numerical address which is automatically
assigned to your computer when you access the Internet.
- Your Browser and Operating System.
Our system detects Microsoft Internet Explorer vs. Netscape
Navigator, as well as its version number. The system also
detects which operating system is accessing the Home State
Bank site, such as Microsoft Windows or Apple OS. This information
is useful to Home State Bank's developers to ensure a quality
browsing experience in current and future site development
work.
- Date and Time.
- Referring Domain. The previous
domain which referred our visitor(s) to the Home State Bank
site is recorded. For example, this may be a search engine
or it may be another business which provided a link to our
site.
- Geographic Information by Country.
Via the visitor's IP address, our software is able to determine
the visitor's geographic locations by country (not specific
addresses).
Our Web site is
not set up to automatically collect personally-identifiable
information from visitors to our Web site. It does recognize
the home server of visitors, but not e-mail addresses. For
example, we can tell which Internet Service Provider our visitors
use, but not the names, addresses or other information about
our visitors that would allow us to identify the particular
visitors to our Web site. This information is used only for
internal purposes by Home State Bank, N.A.'s support staff.
Our Web site does
track certain information about the visits to our Web site.
For example, we compile statistics that show the numbers and
frequency of visitors to our Web site and its individual pages.
These aggregated statistics are generally used internally
to improve our Web site and for product development and marketing
purposes. Those aggregated statistics contain no personal
information and cannot be use to gather such information.

to assist you with you with customer service or technical
support issues, or to follow up with you after your visit,
or to otherwise support your customer relationship with Home
State Bank. It is completely optional for you to participate.
However, failure to participate may mean that you cannot access
and use certain information, materials, and services.
For example, we
may request information from you when you:
